About

Mission

Our mission is:

1. to preserve the history of folk music and its instruments, especially the mountain dulcimer, which was created by the Scottish and Irish immigrants who settled in the Appalachian mountains.

2. to provide free group lessons and loaner instruments to the less fortunate, people with special needs, homeschoolers, and anyone else who has never had the chance to take music lessons.

3. to provide concerts to nursing homes, memory care units, and anywhere that is interested in experiencing mountain dulcimer music.
